Halloween Jack-o-Lanterns

This is how the pumpkins began their journey to Jack-o-Lantern bliss.

This past Monday night instead of a regular Family Home Evening we carved five of our pumpkins that we grew in our garden. We let Emily and Anne have their own way with their pumpkins, and mom and dad helped the other three kids with theirs. I think they turned out pretty well.

So which pumpkin belongs to which kid? They all look great. I can’t believe you grew your own pumpkins! Next year you could charge me $5 per person admission fee to come to your patch and pick a pumpkin, then charge me 30 cents/lb per pumpkin.

Caroline, your hair cut looks cute as can be. Shiny and swingy.

The one on the far left is Caroline’s, the one after that is mine, the middle one is my dads and Diana’s, the next one is Emily’s, and the last one is Buddys.

Great pumpkin pictures. I speak for admission to your pumpkin patch too. Your corn and bean patch as well. Mmmm you grow good stuff in your garden.
