Our good bishop calls the girls up to the stand to honor them in Sacrament Meeting but I guess we've done away with the tradition of making the recite and article of faith.

Aw, Happy Belated birthday Emily. How is YW going?

You are so right about the differences between the programs for boys and girls Primary age. Although boys do have to complete all of the Faith in God with no rewards. Activity (or is it Achievement) days really are the step child of the church. It will get better as things evolve, hopefully by doing away with Cub Scouts rather than changing the girls programs. That's never going to happen is it? I have a vague recollection of an article or talk or something right after Faith in God came out and it stressing there is no reward because the desire was to make it all about a stronger testimony and spiritual habits.
